From January 28 to February 1, 2019, a World Bank mission will travel to Jakarta and Bogor, Indonesia, for a workshop on Integrated Urban Water Management (IUWM) as part of a series of South-South Knowledge Exchange activities. The workshop will consist of two parts: a two-day high-level workshop in Jakarta co-organized by the Indonesian Ministries of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS) and of Public Works and Housing, and a three-day technical workshop with eight city delegations.

The objective of the workshop is to inform the national and city level initiatives and project portfolios related to IUWM aspects such as integrated planning across sectors in the urban environment and potential different infrastructure and soft solutions that could better manage water in the urban space.
